This is a new grass meadow painting I recently finished. It’s on a very wide 244 cm / 8 foot un-stretched canvas. I have painted the grass stems with lots of different colours, in addition to the background yellow colour. The grass rises up to the top of the picture at both ends of the canvas. A blue sky is overhead and small dots of white paint all over the painting represent the shimmering and dancing light. 244 cm x 112 cm un-stretched canvas.
