Black and White Starburst Painting

I’ve been painting a number of my star canvases lately. I paint them in a variety of different colour schemes, including black and white. However, I think this may be the first black and white one I’ve painted on a black background – the others I’ve painted have been on a white background. It’s a very bold and striking painting that will undoubtedly make a big statement on your wall! I have signed it with a small signature in the bottom left-hand corner, in black ink. The signature is not very noticeable from any distance which means the painting could probably be hung in portrait orientation, if you prefer.

Green Tree Painting on 160cm Canvas

My tree paintings are some of the most popular canvases that I paint. I prefer to stick to certain combinations of colours when I paint them but even so, no two are ever quite the same. There are always subtle differences in the balance of colours since I paint each one by hand, using very lively and expressive painting methods. This un-stretched canvas measures 160cm x 112cm.

Customer Photo of Two Star Paintings

I was delighted to be sent this photo by a customer of mine recently. It shows two of my star paintings that are now on display in his shop. It’s a great example of how these paintings can be hung in portrait orientation, as well as in landscape orientation. External picture frames have been added around them and I think they complement the paintings brilliantly. Customer showcase photos are always really appreciated!

Blue Starburst Painting on White Background

This is a new star painting on a white background. It features lots of blues, plus a variety of other colours as well. I sometimes paint a similar blue star on a black background, as an alternative. This un-stretched canvas measures 160 cm x 112 cm. I have signed it with a small signature in the bottom left-hand corner. I use water-based paints on these canvases, carefully building up discrete layers of paint over many painting sessions. There is some flexibility to the paint once it has dried and it generally has a silk finish to it.

A customer recently sent me these two photographs of my very big canvases on display. They are very large black and white paintings that I did. One is a flower meadow and the other is a starburst. It was really nice to hear that the customer is happy with the paintings he purchased from me. Customer showcase photos are always very much appreciated as they help to highlight how my art looks in different settings.

120cm x 100cm Tree with Green and Yellow

This the third tree that I painted recently. I like to vary the balance of colours in the leaf area to achieve different overall finishes. I’ve used quite a lot of green and yellow paint to build up the leaves. Red is also quite prominent, along with a range of other colours as well. It is another painting that I have already stretched over a wooden support frame, to give dimensions of 120 cm (width) x 100 cm (height) x 3 cm (depth).

A customer living near me in south Somerset recently bought two large paintings from me. I had stretched both the canvases over wooden frames for him. These are two photos from him showing the paintings on display in his home.

A new, original tree I’ve just finished. Hand-painted on to a 120cm x 100cm x 3cm box canvas that’s ready to hang on your wall. Featuring lots of orange and yellow in the leaf-area, as well as many other colours too. Bright, colourful and expressive modern art; large canvases that will immediately create a focal point in any room.

90cm x 70cm Tree Painting on Box Canvas

I finished this tree painting today. It’s painted on to a 90cm x 70cm x 3cm box canvas – the canvas has been stretched over a wooden support frame and stapled to the back. It’s very colourful and bright, featuring many different colours, especially yellow, red and green leaves. It’s sure to brighten any room!

Customer Showcase Photo of My Flower Painting

Most of my paintings are sent to customers around Britain via courier. They are sent as un-stretched canvases, rolled up in strong cardboard tubes. However, if you can collect from me here in south Somerset, I can supply the painting already stretched on to a wooden frame. You simply need to add your own picture hook to the back of this wooden stretcher frame in order to hang the painting on your wall.

This customer collected two paintings from me last Sunday. Both were black and white flower meadow paintings, with contrasting orange and yellow flower heads. They were custom sizes and both were stretched on to wooden frames. By the afternoon one of these paintings was on display in his home and I was delighted to receive this photo from him.
