Large Abstract Paintings
This was a large drip painting that I sent to a customer in London. The first photo shows the wall being painted in preparation for my canvas to be hung on it. The black paint that they chose to paint the wall with contrasts in a very appealing way with the surroundings. It also really shows off my abstract canvas. Customer photos are a fantastic way to appreciate how my art looks in people’s homes.
This is another of my black and white canvas prints depicting a stretch of river near my home. The river bank is lined with trees and the shadows of these trees can be seen on the surface of the water. The scene is from winter time and so there are no leaves on the trees – this helps to highlight the complex patterns of the smaller branches.
This is another of my recent large black and white canvas prints. I was feeling particularly inspired by this stretch of river near me back in December of last year and so I have created several canvas prints based on the scenery at this location. In this monochrome print the river is turning to the right as it meanders across the fields. A group of small trees dip down in to the water on the left hand side and their reflections can be seen in the shimmering water. This large canvas print is signed by me, Rich Gane, on both the front and back.
Most of my canvases are original, hand-painted artworks. They tend to be full of colour and very expressive. However, I also have for sale a small selection of large black and white prints. These prints are designed by me and then printed on to very large un-stretched canvases. This monochrome print is based on a lovely stretch of river near me in rural Somerset. Trees line the banks of the river and the landscape besides the river stretches up a gentle hill in the background to the horizon.
This morning I was emailed this lovely photo from a recent customer. It shows one of my large yellow star paintings now on display in his home, directly above the bed. These customer showcase photos really help to show how my paintings look in real-life settings. Yellow, orange, red and many other colours radiate out from the centre of the canvas in all directions, projecting sunshine and warmth around the room.
My customers very kindly sent me this photo of one of my tree paintings. They opted for a chic black frame to surround the canvas and I think it looks fantastic. Although most customers simply display the painting as a stretched canvas without an external frame, some do pay their picture framer extra to have a traditional picture frame added as well, like in this case.
