This original drip painting is on a really wide 244 cm / 8 feet wide canvas and it is 112 cm / 44 inches high. Subtle changes to the order in which I apply the colours can affect how the finished painting looks. In this case, I added pale blue quite late on which has softened the overall appearance. In addition to all the other colours, yellow helps to add warmth and the white paint helps to provide highlights and ‘tie’ the painting together.
